Hairnet6 is the world’s first and only online internet-based hairdressers’ competition. The aim is to provide an opportunity to talented hairdressers to achieve international fame. Before registering to the site, please read the following, which define the terms of using the site, carefully for your own sake.

By registering at the site, the user accepts all relevant Hungarian laws, especially the ones pertaining to the protection of personal and publicly relevant data, as defined in ordinance 1992/LXIII.

Terms used in the following declaration:

Personal data: any data that can be connected to a given natural person (the Affected), and conclusions about the Affected that can be drawn from the data. The user of services provided by the data handler is the User. In the declaration, the User must be considered as the Affected.

Special Status Data: data pertaining to racial origin, national or ethnic minority, political views or party membership, religious belief, membership in labor unions, health status, clinical dependencies, sexual life, or personal criminal history.

Consent: the willing and unambiguous expression of the Affected’s wish, based on proper information, with which he/she unmistakably consents to the – global or operation-by-operation – handling of personal data pertaining to their person.

Protest: the Affected’s declaration, in which he/she protests to the handling of their data and requests cessation of the handling, and the removal of the data being handled.

Handler: the natural or artificial person, or organization not possessing an artificial persona, that determines the aim of data handling, makes decisions pertaining to the handling, executes said decisions, or has the appointed handler execute said decisions.

Data handling: any operation performed on the data, or sum of such operations, such as collection, recording, archiving, organization, modification, use, forwarding, publishing, synchronization or linking, locking, deletion and destruction, also preventing further use of said data. Photography, voice or video recording also constitutes data handling.

Forwarding: making data available to a given third party

Publishing: making data available to anyone.

Deletion: making data unrecognizable and unusable in a way that prevents future recovery.

Locking: temporary or permanent prevention of forwarding, publishing, modification, destruction, deletion, synchronization or linking, and use of the data in question.

Destruction: the complete physical destruction of the data, or the data carrier containing them.

Processing: execution technical tasks pertaining to data handling operations, regardless of methods and equipment used, or the location of execution.

Data Processor: the natural or artificial person, or organization not possessing an artificial persona, that carries out processing of personal data on request of the Data Handler, including request based on relevant laws.

Third party: natural or artificial person, or organization not possessing an artificial persona, that is not the Affected, the Data Handler, or the Data Processor

Registered user (the User): the person authorized, as a member, to use the hairnet6 website after submitting data required for the registration, and accepting these terms.

Contestant: any natural person taking part in the online hairdressers’ contest organized by GHW.Ltd. – after accepting the rules of the contest – and registered on hairnet6.com.

Legal basis of data handling: willing consent of the Affected, based on act 1992/LXIII, on the protection of personal data, and publicity of publicly relevant data.

Aim of data handling: in case of required data, the aim is to identify and confirm the authorization of the user.

Duration of handling: in case of required data, as long as the User wishes to remain a member of the system. Registrants to hairnet6 can request deletion of their personal data in email to the organizers. Within 8 working days after receipt of request, the organizers will delete the requested data from the database.

By registering, the User acknowledges that part of the submitted data is public, and therefore can be published on the contest’s website. Organizers are bound by a nondisclosure agreement regarding the non-public data of the contestants.

By registering, the User assents to the organizers using the submitted data for statistical purposes.

Organizers will handle all non-public data in their possession confidentially. To this end, they will employ the latest technological solutions, and conduct constant inspection. However, the organizers are not to be held responsible if an unauthorized third party takes possession of the data handled safely for reasons outside their control, such as a hacker attack.

The organizers will not use the data in any way other than those designated. Personal data will be disclosed to third parties – discounting legally required disclosure – without the User’s previous and informed consent.

The organizers are not to be held responsible for abuse of personal data by a third party made public on the User’s own site.

Control of comments on the site:

The following regulation extends to all areas of the hairnet6.com site where the User has the possibility to post comments.

The organizers are not to be held accountable for the contents of comments made on the site. The comments reflect the personal opinion of the User in all cases, the website’s owner takes no responsibility for this. If the User publishes content infringing on others’ rights, all responsibility is held by the User.

Moderators of the site reserve the right to remove any comments if it:

§    Constitutes a breach of data protection acts
§    Infringes on personal rights, especially if the comment contains intimidating, aggressive, vulgar or hate speech.
§    Purposefully obstructs fluent and cultured conversation
§    The chosen topic is irreconcilable with the contents of the page
§    Is a covert or open advertisement of a product or service
§    Infringes on any acts in force at the time of posting, especially act 1978/IV (Hungarian Criminal Code)

The organizers ask all users of the site to report all such comments to the moderators.

Rules of damages:

During use of hairnet6.com, the User’s IP-address is logged. Should the user violate the terms contained herein, or carries out activities harmful to the site’s operation, he/she will be banned from the site to ensure the unperturbed execution of the contest.

By registering, the user agrees to compensate the organizers for all claims presented by third parties for damages stemming from the unlawful use of this site.

The User declares that all content uploaded by him/her will respect the personal rights of other, meaning they cannot contain:

§    Illegally obtained data, including trade secrets, copyrighted materials,
§    False or falsified facts
§    Instigation for crime, including racial, religious, sexual or political content
§    Sexual or violent content
§    Advertisement belonging under the economic advertising act

By accepting these terms, the User confirms that he/she has received appropriate information on the regulations of personal data handling, and consents to the handling and storage of their personal data. Should the User have any questions or remarks regarding these terms, he/she may communicate them to the organizers via email.

The User – taking into account jurisdictional regulations – accepts the exclusive jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Court of Budapest and the Budai Central Court of Justice for settling all possible debates.
