The winner of the world’s first international online hairdressing competition has been determined

he past years’ testcontests had world wide famous hairstylists in the jury, just like Richard Thompson, the creative leader of the Mahogany Team, or Adriano Dal Monte.Jurors were Mauro santurro, Simone Zanghieri,Peter Schwittay, Angelo pavanello and Marzio Fiaschi too.

Richard Thompson – head of the international firm called MAHOGANY: One of the most popular professional hairstylists in the world.Everybody knows that he works like a genious.Besides numerous other awards he has for example UK Master Hairdresser of the Year, Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year &A.I.P.P. Avant-grade Hairdresser of the Year. Last year he commented the contest and gave the awards to the winners himself. He appreciated every competitor’s work and congratulated the founders of the online contest.

Adriano Dal Monte (Italy)-International consulent of Alfaparf. He congratulated the participants as well and told them to make therir dreams come true because with a great effort and time everything is possible.

Papasz Vaszilisz (Hungary)-Wella Professionals „I think it’s a great idea to organize an online contest.It’s important that the hairdressers can compete in their own categories acording to their knowledge and skills.As part of the jury I was glad to see that in all the three categories many young hairtstylists partecipated, so we could see a lot of creative and interesting pictures.”

Angelo Pavanello and Marzio Fiaschi (Italy)- Selective rofessionals Global Grop Academy: „the online competition is a great thing to do. This year we take part in someting like this for the second time, and I am glad to be here. We’ve seen that the Internet looks at the profession in another view, because the hairdresser’s looks, style, speed is hidden from the eyes of the jury. This had both advantages and disadvantages for the jury, so our work wasn’t so easy”.

Arató Krisztián (Hungary) world champion in 2008. „The Hairnet competition helps young talents to introduce themselves . They will become well-known, and their pictures turn to be a reference for their work. It was good to see how creative the young hairdressers are.In my opinion they will manage to stay in this profession in the future as well.”

Peter Schwittay (Germany)- international instructor of GOLDWELL the international instructor took part in the competition more times. „Thanks a lot for the honour to be here.This year it was not easier than last year. It was hard to chose. Hairdressers sent us marvellous pictures.Congratulations to the organizers and hope that the competition will soon become international.”

Mauro Santurro (Italy)- Selvaggio Artisticteam  „I haven’t done something like this before.Thanks for the possibility. Hope that soon I’ll get to know personally the hairdressers of the country who have the shown talent.”

Simone Zanghieri (Italy) „this event is a new experience for me. My message for the crew: GO ON!”
